Thank you for your continued support as always it is greatly appreciated. As a valued member of our extended Uulala family, we wanted to keep you in the loop and share some of the highlights with you in this monthly update.

Village Capital Finance Forward US Accelerator
The program created by Village Capital with partners PayPal, MetLife, and UBS seeks to support fintech founders with market-based solutions that help to tackle financial health challenges in the United States with mentorship, exposure to investors, intensive feedback, and connections within the sector. The program took place in both Miami and New York, culminating with several days of meetings, workshops, and the beginnings of strategic partnerships.
Uulala In The Philippines
Uulala has officially been incorporated in the Philippines now for a few months, and our on the ground executive staff have been very busy locking down Letters of Intent and contracts to deploy the Uulala ecosystem within the country. For those who are not familiar with this market, 77% of the Philippines is unbanked, yet 65% of individuals own a smartphone. A couple of weeks ago our Filipino executive staff was part of a trade mission to the US representing Filipino technology game-changers where Uulala CMO Matthew Loughran was in attendance. At the Filipino Embassy in San Francisco, Uulala became the first Blockchain Company to sign with the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) to operate in the economic zone and blockchain city. There are big things ahead for this fully regulated region in Asia. This positions Uulala as a first mover to service the constituents in The Philippines, the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), as well as businesses in the Philippines looking to conduct international payments.
As a result of Money 2020 our team was able to finalize agreements that open the US to Mexico and the US to the Philippines remittance corridors for Uulala mobile app users. This means within a few weeks (currently in the integration phase), our users can send Peer to Peer international payments within our mobile application with over 500,000 cash in and cash-out locations. In 2018 the US to Mexico remittance corridor was almost $35B, and the US to Philippines Corridor was about $12B
December 3rd -6th The Uulala C Suite will be in Vatican City for the 2019 Laudato Si Event. This year's stakeholders are focusing on empowering 1 million vulnerable families with helping people remain where they want to be—in their original home. Our team is speaking on the use of fintech for financial inclusion, access to financial choices, and will be driving stakeholder engagement throughout the event.
December 16th-18th, Uulala was invited to Geneva for the first-ever UN Global Refugee Forum; this comes at the end of a tumultuous decade in which the number of refugees worldwide has doubled. Uulala will be joined with partners ICMC (International Catholic Migration Commission) and Symmitree, who jointly will make a commitment at the UN to provide connectivity, financial inclusion, and resettlement for refugees over the next four years. This is a significant honor to be asked to attend as well as make a global commitment with global support.
We have received a lot of interest from supporters and our community on how to get more involved with Uulala, so we are pleased to offer our supporters who own businesses the opportunity to wow their staff with Uulala this holiday season. Click here to learn more...
